Musician Mark Leggett writes music for films, award-winning
documentaries and television. He has been nominated twice for the
Primetime Emmy Award.
In his Los Angeles based studio, Mark utilizes traditional instrumentation, modern electronics, and world class musicians to record his music. His work includes scoring NBC's record-breaking DOLLY PARTON'S COAT OF MANY COLORS, the hit show MY NAME IS EARL, and the WERNER HERZOG narrated film DINOTASIA. Mark has also written PBS theme music recorded by LEVON HELM and THE BAND and has composed documentary scores with famed guitarist/songwriter RICHARD THOMPSON.
Mark is currently scoring the online series STORYLINE ONLINE, featuring guests including LILY TOMLIN, CHRIS PINE, MARY STEENBURGEN, ALLISON JANEY and ED O'NEILL as well as working on a feature documentary, a television series, and is completing a CD of guitar music. Later in 2018, he will begin working on a documentary on the life of William Faulkner.
